We made it!! Through the trials and tribulations of wedding planning we emerged triumphant. A perfectly beautiful wedding that was truly an amazingly happy day. We were so overwhelmed with the generosity and grace of our friends and surrounded by the love of our families.

3 weeks away!

The excitement in my casita is palpable, it creeps in around the edges of my sleep and rouses me. Even the doggie knows something big is about to happen. I love these examples of non matching dresses and the use of the parasols. One of the biggest surprises for me on my wedding day will be what my brides maids will look like; it keeps me up at night, in happy anticipation.

Flower Girl Dresses (For Reals This Time)

At first this was supposed to be the FG dress for our 4 flower girls.


Then it was discovered to perhaps be a leeeeeeetle bit too much like this dress:


Which is what GRE BM is wearing (although not in white)

So I went back to the drawing board and came up with this:

Now we have to figure out how the girls will be wearing their hair and what color shoes, I'm thinking simple ballet slippers in white.
