Mariachi in the Streets.

When I was first planning the wedding I thought we would be celebrating the mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, which is quite literally across the street from the Library. My plan was for the Mariachi to lead us all across J Street in Sacramento into our reception. FUN!

Unfortunately due to (the absolute worst ever) questionable quality of the Wedding Coordinator at that Cathedral (i.e. she could not remember the day and times for which we had reserved the church) we had to choose St. Francis in Mid Town about 20 blocks away. Still only about 8 minutes by car but no longer walkable. Wouldn't it have been cool though, a little mariachi wedding parade?

Mariachi Madness

Please say hello to our Mariachi, Los Gallos! Hailing from Sacramento they are ostensibly THE IT band to have at your wedding. We plan on having them perform after the wedding ceremony and pose in some come on frankly awesome photos - BMs in Mariachi sombreros anyone? - and perform during our cocktail hour.
