Glass Jar Glee

I was so excited to see the cool glass jars we registered for featured in some of Thom Felicia's home designs. He is so fab in "dress my nest" on the Style Network! Can I just say this about the Style Network Channel? I only watch it when we are in Sacramento because its not part of our cable line up in the city. So basically only on weekends, and the shows are as follows: 13 episodes back to back of "Clean This House", which showcases the nastiest and filthiest homes in America. Then 4 episodes of Ruby, this show about a 350 lbs woman who is trying to lose the weight, and then this awful show that used to be hosted by Finola Hughes (woot!) which is something like, "How do I Look", basically an excuse for your friends to tell you that your style is all f'ed up and you need a wardrobe intervention.

It's sort of the guilty pleasures channel, you can watch and feel better that your house is not (quite) that messy, that you aren't (quite) that heavy and your friends are better about lying to your face (aka would NEVER take you on national TV to tell you that all your pants have you rocking a camel toe)!

When P and I first moved in together he had an astronomical collection of match books from his B School bar hopping days. Most of those matches have been used on my candles and incsense (P claims that my infatuation with "stinky" candles is a sign that "I don't know anything" but I beg to differ) but after the wedding my fantasy is that we will be rolling in excess time and money and will have the inclination to go out to bars and restaurants every night all over the city. So we will be rebuilding the match book collection and storing them in the fabu jars.
