Bake those potatoes using the Zuni method. Potatoes boiled in salted water until tender, then drain and toss with olive oil and fresh rosemary which you have bruised, not chopped or minced. Throw the it all on a cookie sheet and put some sprigs of fresh rosemary on the potatoes. Roast at 400' for about 20-25 minutes.
For Mama's Day we luxuriated post enormous dinner in P's mom's garden. A rosemary bush was in full riotous bloom and smelled enchanting. I became excited about the possibilities for all the rosemary. According to gardenguides.com rosemary is pretty much a wonder herb. Smells good, tastes good, and has been reputed to improve your memory. I picked a bunch of bunches and have proceeded to disperse to the BMs.
The other sweet discovery about Rosemary is that in the language of flowers (which I think is a Greek/Roman/Victorian amalgamation/invention?) it represents remembrance and fidelity. Even when I am desperately trying to not think wedding, it's everywhere. Rosemary might be a sweet and pungent way of incorporating my own remembrances into my wedding flowers.
