Bountiful Blooms

Still on the hunt for some uber inspiration for my centerpieces. I keep thinking that it is really not something that needs to be incredibly dramatic as we are going to be stringing papel picado (Mexican Streamers/Banners) and lanterns across the hall, and that lighting will provide a warm and beautiful atmosphere for the party to get its groove on.

Then this morning Colin Cowie (On the Lifetime Channel wedding show, Get Married!) told me that, "Your guests will be spending a lot of time seated at the table, so make it something they want to look at!" EEEEK, all this time I thought y'all were going to be dancing, getting schnockered at the bar, making out on the balcony or playing with the photo booth. Damn you Colin Cowie for making me believe that centerpieces are a BFD!

I'm feeling this arrangement. Nice smaller size, plain candles and a minimum of different variety of flowers. I am all about easy.


Looking good. Roses, check. Candles, Check. A little bit too huge, Check.


Also really close to my ideal, maybe more work on creating the bouquet with all the different blooms. One flower just seems easier.


Pretty much perfect! The colors, the candles, the cute table sign and the namecards. Getting Warmer.


Ok, it's pink, has roses and some interest with photos. But seems a little too like a pomander and little more work than BM's and I want to do.
